Contract Academic Editor – Remote/Independent Contractor

We are looking for highly qualified academic editors to join our professional academic services team on a contract basis. This position is open to individuals with advanced expertise and strong research and writing skills. Editors will receive tasks based on student demand and must meet all deadlines while upholding quality standards.

Position Type

Contract (workload is dependent upon student enrollment volume).

Requirements

English proficiency: Native proficiency in American English, Australian English, or British English.

Post-secondary Degree: A university degree in a specialized field is required. We will request proof of post-secondary education upon acceptance. Graduate-level qualifications (master’s/doctoral) are considered an asset.

Additional Conditions of Engagement

Background Check: Once you are accepted, you will need to provide a clear criminal record check.

English Skills: You should be able to write and edit at an academic level.

Referencing: You need to know the main citation styles, such as APA, MLA, and Chicago.

Personal Qualities: You have to meet deadlines and stick to academic integrity.

How to Apply

Send in an original, unpublished academic paper (1,000 words, written only by you).

If we like your application, we will get in touch and ask you to take a competency test.

Before you can start, you’ll need to show proof that you have completed your degree and clear your background check.

Pay

This is contract work. How much you earn depends on how much work there is and student demand. If we select you, we will share the details.
